Description

Hard water contains, among other things, dissolved minerals – compounds of calcium and magnesium. Calcium and magnesium ions cause limescale build-up, which is hazardous to objects and equipment that come into contact with water or steam. Water softening is a process in which all calcium and magnesium compounds that cause water hardness are removed. When flowing through a container with a special resin, these ions are bound by the resin particles. If the ion-binding capacity of the resin decreases, it should be restored by a suitable regeneration process using a saline solution.
The water softener can be installed wherever the water temperature is lower than 45 °C and the water inlet pressure does not exceed 2 bar.
Regeneration: use only non-ionized salt.
For drinking water only.
Suitable for softening water for coffee machines, steam ovens, dishwashers and ice makers.
Its small size makes this device ideal for bars and restaurants.
