NoFrost

LIEBHERR NoFrost technology is not only practical, but ultimately leads to significant energy savings (greater environmental friendliness and economy of the device). With this technology, the freezer space itself is cooled by flowing air, which is freed of moisture and then discharged outside. In addition, the entire space is defrosted with warm air in regular cycles. Thanks to these measures, there is no need to defrost the freezer itself at all, but frost does not form on the stored food either, which ultimately leads to energy savings. It has been proven that due to unremoved icing by prescribed defrosting, the consumption of these devices increases by an average of 20%. The entire NoFrost system is of course controlled by sophisticated electronics so that it runs as efficiently and gently as possible. Thanks to the dynamic cooling, the inserted food is also frozen faster, thus eliminating bacteria, extending the shelf life and improving the taste.

Gastro: temperature alarm

An integrated temperature alarm indicates whether the lower or upper threshold has been reached. It uses acoustic and visual signals to ensure maximum safety of stored goods.

Removable cover with top suspension of the unit with components

Cooling components are placed in the upper section for easy access. The removable cover of the compressor unit is easily opened using the upper hinged suspension, so it is suitable for safe cleaning and maintenance of the condenser filter without the need to move the appliance.

Ecological cooling medium

You can be kinder to nature thanks to counter freezers with R600a and R290 refrigerants, which have almost replaced R134a and R404a with their ecological properties. Thanks to the R600a and R290 refrigerants in Liebherr appliances, the ecological footprint with regard to CO2 is reduced, they have a minimal greenhouse effect and zero ozone depletion potential.
