Water softening is a process that removes all the calcium and magnesium compounds from the water that are responsible for the hardness of the water. As the water flows over the bed, the resin particles absorb the calcium and magnesium ions. When the ion exchange capacity of the resin bed is exhausted, a regeneration process must be initiated during which the bed is subjected to a regeneration process using a regeneration brine solution.

The water softener can be installed wherever the water temperature is below 45 °C and the water pressure does not exceed 2 bar.

Use only non-ionised salt for regeneration
