NoFrost

LIEBHERR NoFrost technology is not only practical, but ultimately leads to significant energy savings (greater environmental friendliness and economy of the device). With this technology, the freezer space itself is cooled by flowing air, which is freed of moisture and then discharged outside. In addition, the entire space is defrosted with warm air in regular cycles. Thanks to these measures, there is no need to defrost the freezer itself at all, but frost does not form on the stored food either, which ultimately leads to energy savings. It has been proven that due to unremoved icing by prescribed defrosting, the consumption of these devices increases by an average of 20%. The entire NoFrost system is of course controlled by sophisticated electronics so that it runs as efficiently and gently as possible. Thanks to the dynamic cooling, the inserted food is also frozen faster, thus eliminating bacteria, extending the shelf life and improving the taste.

FrostProtect

The new FrostProtect technology is installed in selected LIEBHERR freezers. Thanks to the application of this innovative technology, freezers can also be installed in unheated spaces, for example in a garage. The lower limit of the temperature of the surrounding space is now already from -15 °C, and the upper limit of the temperature is defined by the level of the climate class for which the appliance is certified.

Super Frost

The SuperFrost function allows you to quickly freeze freshly stored food thanks to the rapid removal of heat from the interior of the refrigerator. In this way, the food retains all its nutritional value. The return from a temperature of -32°C to the originally set temperature in the freezer is regulated based on quantity or time. This will ensure gentle energy savings.

Power failure alarm

No more melted ice cream in your freezer due to a sudden power outage. The smart alarm built into Liebherr appliances lets you know not only acoustically, but also visually on the built-in display that your ice cream is in danger. However, it will not scare you unnecessarily! If the outage is short and the temperature in the freezer compartment does not rise sharply, the alarm will remain switched off.

Door alarm

The open door notification in the form of an acoustic alarm is triggered 60 seconds after the door is opened. The door alarm will thus ensure protection against unwanted temperatures that could impair the quality of food storage.

Drawer with a comfortable tilting function

The top drawer in the freezer is often considered a mysterious place because it is simply not easy to see into. The solution here is a hinged drawer that opens easily thanks to a slight downward slope: You always have a perfect overview. Makes it easier to insert and remove frozen food. And thanks to the extension stop, the drawer never falls out.
