The orange indicator light is on while the hotplates are heating up. As soon as the indicator light goes out, you can start cooking. The timer helps you ensure that your waffles do not burn, but instead have the right degree of crispiness and color. The aluminum hotplates have a non-stick surface, so the waffles come out perfectly.
Quick and easy cleaning
The stainless steel cover is easy to clean with a damp cloth. The aluminum plates are not removable, but can be cleaned quickly and easily with a brush, sponge or cloth and a little warm water. The best way to clean the plates is to switch off the appliance, unplug the power cord and wait until the appliance is no longer hot but warm to the touch. This is the easiest way to wipe off any remaining dirt. The appliance stands on four rubber feet to prevent it from moving during use.
